Client Requirements

The client has reached out to us with the below objective

‍

    • To create financial analysis and operations analysis for Leading Hospitality and their locations using multiple databases for each company and different data source types

    • To separate their internal data repository from application data and migrate all the historical data to Azure Synapse's dedicated SQL Pool

Our Solution

    • We built Data Collection Process using the Azure Cloud Platform services where Azure Data Factory uses IR to fetch data from Opera DB and loads the data into Azure Data Lake storage in the form of Payloads.

    • Performed historical data migration to Azure Synapse

    • Replaced current PMS Data Integration process with Azure Data Factory

    • Data is collected in the form of intermediate files which are then loaded into the target synapse SQL pool.

Results

   • Completed Migration of multiple PMS (Opera) data and integration instances to Azure Cloud

   • Support disconnects, clean up an old data repository
